FIELD: manufacture of building materials and articles, preparation cement-free construction mixtures based on silica and high-concentration astringent suspension produced by mixing of ground silica with alkaline water. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer is composed of anode and cathode chambers placed vertically and in symmetry relative to diaphragm made of glass cloth. Chambers are divided in longitudinal direction into two equal vertically positioned volumes with the aid of current conductive net with cells of 0.1-1.0 sq.mm functioning as perforated electrodes. Half-volumes of anode and cathode chambers between electrodes and separating diaphragm are divided in horizontal plane by dielectric partition into two equal parts, upper and lower. Upper parts of chambers have overflow slits communicating interaction space with accumulation spaces. The latter are provided in upper parts with flow-control devices and with branch pipes to relieve gas. Electrolyzer is made of two identical sections symmetric with reference to diaphragm from unified rectangular plastic frame with parallel inlet and outlet of water.
