FIELD: determination of low subbackground contents of heavy and noble metals in minerals, rocks, ores during search, prospecting and development of ore deposits. SUBSTANCE: proposed process consists in measurement and comparison of F-and α radiograms generated with irradiation of examined samples in beam of high-velocity ions 6C12 of accelerator. F-radiograms are generated by placement of examined sample and detector from thin mica in beam of ion of accelerator. Image on f-radiogram is formed in process of irradiation of flurophlogopite detector with tracks of momentary fission fragments of elements. Exposure of sample and detector lies within limits 1012-1017 ions/sq. cm. After irradiation thermal treatment of detector is carried out within interval of temperatures from 450 to 600 C in the course of 4.0-6.0 h. After radiogram is generated by exposure of detector of polymer material in the course of 1.0-100.0 h. Repeat irradiation in flux of nuclei 7N14 makes it possible to isolate element - platinum and to determined its concentration in examined sample. EFFECT: improved authenticity and efficiency of proposed process.
