DIBBLER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering; hand tools for soil dibbling after plowing and harrowing for potato planting. SUBSTANCE: device has vertical leg with knives, support-bottom and flat base with attachment for boot. Lower end of tube in dibbler is closed by support-bottom made in the form of stopped lower race of thrust bearing with cage and balls held from falling out by vertically fixed pin with adjustable nut on end. Upper race of bearing is secured in tube and is provided with central hole through which above indicated pin, holding the support-bottom, passes. Friction of support-bottom against bottom of hollow with tube rotated is prevented, as support-bottom remains stationary and tube, when rotated, thrusts against antifriction bearing.
