FIELD: oil and gas producing industry, particular, devices for taking samples of fluid from wells. SUBSTANCE: device for taking samples of formation fluid in well has, at least, two sample taking units. Each unit is made in form of ballast chamber interconnected by means of adapter with intake chamber having separating piston and shutoff valve. Each adapter has safety needle valve. Shutoff valve in intake chamber is provided with tensioning device. Needle valve is made in form of shutoff needle, calibrated spring and pressing nut installed for regulation of shutoff valve. Tensioning device is made in form of hydraulic cylinder with piston, tension spring and check ball valve. Piston is connected by means of tension spring with shutoff valve. Check ball valve is located inside the piston. Operation of hydraulic cylinder is controlled by check ball valve. Needle valve is adjusted for the preset formation pressure prior to lowering the device. During lowering, formation fluid enters the device through the hole in coupling. Shutoff valve opens, fluid flows to under separating piston and displaces the working fluid into ballast chamber to free the volume for formation fluid. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
