FIELD: means of mechanization of development and stopping operations; applicable in the capacity of working member in tunneling machines and shearers, and also in connection drilling machines. SUBSTANCE: planetary working member of tunnelling machine includes transportation reducing gear made in form of planetary reducing gear with sun gear-wheel, planetary gears, ring gear rigidly secured to body of the working member and carrier, and relative motion reducing gear made in form of bevel gearing with central bevel gear-wheel installed on drive shaft which is connected with the shaft of sun gear-wheel whose rotary axis is coaxial to rotary axis of working member, and side bevel gears whose shafts are perpendicular to axis of rotation of the working member and connected with supporting members of cutting tool. Relative motion reducing gear has additional gearings with gears installed on the shafts of side bevel gear wheels and intermediate gear-wheels with extended internal ends on which working disks are mounted. Working disk cutters are located at the distance from the axis of rotation of the working member equalling, at least, the width of the cutter cutting edge. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
