ACTUATING MEMBER OF MINING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: actuating members of mining machines used for cutting of rocks. SUBSTANCE: actuating member includes mounted on shaft: body with cutters, carrier, ejectors with sprayers located over circumference, hydraulic control valve and deflector attached to carrier. Accommodated in body are piston pumps whose pistons are made with circular recesses on outer side surface. End surface of carrier has wavy projections engageable with pump rods reciprocating the pistons in rotation of body. Circular recess of each piston is made for communication of pump hollow with outlet of hydraulic control valve. Design of the actuating member allows elimination of accumulation of explosive concentrations of gases in zone of its operation and reduction of dust concentration. Automatic engagement of supply of spraying fluid to sprayer and cutters prevents water logging of broken coal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 8 dwg
