FIELD: mining; applicable in mining of soluble minerals, including rock salt by hydraulic borehole mining, and in construction of structures through boreholes of underground storage for liquid and gaseous products. SUBSTANCE: method of salt hydraulic borehole mining includes drilling-in of salt bed by boreholes, hydraulic isolation of roof rocks by installation of casing string, location of hydraulic mining tool in hole, pressure water supply, washing-out and dissolving of salt with simultaneous lifting of formed brine to the surface and formation of stopping chamber, and control of formation of storage chamber by supply of compressed air. Prior to starting the formation of stopping chamber, driven in the hole walls are development slotted opening. During driving of development openings, hydrodynamic level of brine in the hole is maintained below the giant section of the tool. The device for embodiment of the offered method has water-supplying standpipe, brine pipeline, lower head with giant section. Stop ring is installed in annulus between standpipe and brine pipeline. Stop ring has inlets of giant combined with its bypass holes. Standpipe and brine pipelines may move relative to each other. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 8 dwg
