FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: end faces of both clutch parts to be butt-joined and shutoff valves are flat and arranged in the same plane when the valve is closed. At least one of the valves is provided with an actuator from the outer side of the clutch part, which may be made up as a valve that projects out of the clutch part through the end face plug, and locator for keeping the valve open that may be made up as a cam arranged at the end of the rod. The actuator of the valve of one of the clutch parts is made up as a rod movably received in the valve for permitting the end face of the rod to be brought out of the end face of the clutch part. The valve is locked in the clutch part against rotation by means of, e.g., a flat shank received in the grooves on the plug. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
