FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has pipe bank 1, pipe plates 2 and 3, covers 4 and 5, casing 6 with compensator 7, and branch pipes for supplying and discharging fluids. At the top of casing 6 is branch pipe 10 for supplying hot water and, below it, branch pipe 13 for discharging cold water. At the bottom of the casing is branch pipe 12 for supplying cold water and, above it, branch pipe 11 for discharging hot water. EFFECT: improved heat exchange. 4 cl, 3 dwg
