FIELD: heat power industry, design and manufacture of heat exchangers with tube plates. SUBSTANCE: proposed heat exchanger includes in compliance with first variant distribution chamber divided into inlet and outlet spaces by partition and limited by body with branch pipes to feed and discharge heated medium, one or several tube plates with holes for linking heat exchange tubes, enclosure joined to tube plate and embracing bundle of heat exchange tubes with branch pipes to feed and discharge heating medium. Tube plate is hemispheric and convex towards medium of lesser pressure. Non-perforated part of tube plate has protrusion for connection of enclosure of heat exchanger, this protrusion is formed by annular groove. In correspondence with second variant proposed heat exchanger includes distribution chamber divided by partition into inlet and outlet spaces and limited by body with branch pipes to feed and discharge heated medium, one or several tube plates with holes for linking heat exchange tubes, enclosure of heat exchanger embracing bundle of heat exchange tubes with branch pipes to feed and discharge heating medium, tube plate. The latter is hemispheric and convex towards medium of lesser pressure. Non- perforated part of enclosure of heat exchanger has protrusion for connection of enclosure of heat exchanger. Protrusion is formed by annular groove. Distribution chamber comes in the form of sphere on side of heated medium. Proposed invention makes it feasible to reduce mass and thickness of tube plate by factor of 1.5-1.8, depth of drilling of one hole, total length of all holes and mass of drilled out metal by factor of 1.3-1.6, to decrease labor input to drilling operations, to enhance reliability of operation of heat exchanger under dynamic conditions, to manufacture distribution chamber lighter and more compact, to diminish mass and dimensions of heat exchanger.
