FIELD: optical devices which read encoded information. SUBSTANCE: label is designed as data lattice which has set of hexagons which carry information encoding and are adjacent in facet structure. Two adjacent hexagons have at least two different optical characteristics. Data in read data lattice is encoded by providing specific optical characteristics for several hexagons in given picture, by ordering hexagons in given order and printing hexagons with at least two optical characteristics. When information is output by means of scanning of information encoding lattice of adjacent polygons, preferably hexagons, then exact optical copy of digital bit flow which represents optical characteristics of information encoding adjacent polygons is produced, this optical copy is decoded and decode bit flow is output.
