FIELD: optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: label has data lattice which is shaped by manifold of polygons which encodes information and which are arranged in specific geometric structure. Said polygons are arranged in specific geometric structure and have at least two different optical characteristics. When information is encoded for label which consists of information-representing polygons, specific optical characteristics of polygons are set, polygons are arranged in given order and polygons are printed using at least two optical characteristics. When information is output, due to optical scanning of data lattice of information-representing polygons, precise optical copy of digital bit flow which conforms to optical characteristics of information-representing polygons is recorded. This optical copy is decoded and decoded bit flow is restored. Polygons are preferably hexagons.
