TABLE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: table has top, sheet steel cylinder and legs removably secured to cylinder. Longitudinal and transverse binders of cylinder are made from angle bars formed as rectangular metal frame with corners strengthened with flat welded planks to which plates are rigidly attached from below to define leg receptacles. Table has cavities for receiving drawers positioned adjacent to each pair of legs at both sides lengthwise of table. Construction is strengthened by brackets. Cylinder height "b", leg receptacle depth "h" and table cavities height "H" are related by inequality of b <h <H. Receptacles are made rectangular in accordance with profile of legs, which abut with their upper ends against planks. Distance between bracket walls corresponds to width of stool so that it may be suspended in inoperative position. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
