METHOD FOR REMOVING METABOLIC PRODUCTS DURING CHRONIC DISEASES OF INTERNAL ORGANS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: patients suffering from chronic diseases of internal organs are subjected to lavage of intestine by 2 liters of 0.5%-sodium bicarbonate solution at temperature 38-42 C daily during first week of treatment course, whereafter intestine is washed during second week with infusions of bile-expelling and antiinflammatory herbs at same temperature every other day. During third week same lavage with herb infusions is carried out every third day, during fourth week - every fourth day, while tubages are effected at lavage-free days. EFFECT: efficient removal of metabolic products during chronic diseases of internal organs.
