FIELD: abrasives. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns abrasive tools of fused corundum (76.9-91.8 wt %) on glass binding material (8.2-23.1 wt %), in particular, for discs designed for profiled polishing. Binder contains oxides of (in wt %): silicon, 60.5-64.0; aluminium, 13.5-20.5; boron, 1.6-10.7; magnesium, 0.1-1.2; calcium, 0.6-3.2; potassium, 1.4-6.6; sodium, 2.4-8.5; ferric, 0.3- 0.4; and additionally lithium, 0.6-2.9; and titanium, 0.2-1.9. Binder may also contain cobalt and nickel oxides, 0.2-0.4 and 0.1-0.5 wt %, respectively. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics. 2 cl, 2 tbl
