FIELD: space engineering; spacecraft nuclear power units. SUBSTANCE: meteoroid protection shield for coolant headers of cooler-radiator of nuclear power unit connected to load via power conductors has its current conductors made in the form of strips installed in a spaced relations on external side of headers. Heat insulation made of insulating material is fitted in clearance between conductor and header. EFFECT: reduced mass of cooler-radiator and spacecraft nuclear power unit due to combining two functions (power transmission and meteoroid protection of headers) in power conductor. 2 cl, 2 dwg
