FIELD: wood working; transportation of sawn wood from sawing machine. SUBSTANCE: chain conveyor has at least two adjacent parallel conveyor chains with scrapers secured on chains for holding sawn wood. Scrapers are hinge-mounted on conveyor chains for adjusting conveyor width to suit the required size by changing distance between conveyor chains. Scraper is hinge-secured in its central portion to down V-shaped obtuse angle at maximum width of conveyor and V-shaped acute at minimum width of conveyor for stepless adjustment of conveyor width. Scrapers can be made in form of chains, or belts, or flat steel springs. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 8 dwg
