FIELD: sawmill operation. SUBSTANCE: disk saw has devices for feeding logs, cutting heads 5 for stripping the log surface and blocks 8 of circular saws for the log sawing in the longitudinal direction. The axle systems of the blocks of the circular saws are disposed on different sides of the log. Each of these blocks has at least one blade of the circular saw and one or more knife shafts for the longitudinal milling of the board up to the required width. In each block the blades of circular saws and the knife shafts are disposed correspondingly on different sides of the log and in pairs on one line relative to the lateral direction of the log. The disk saw has dividing knives disposed behind the blocks of the circular saws, for the separation of the sawed boards or similar lumber. The disk saw is made with the possibility of regulating the position of the axle systems of blocks 8 of circular saws relative to the middle line of the sawed log.
