FIELD: firearm device for armament of patrol service of militia and traffic police with the aid of self-protection. SUBSTANCE: firearm device has a casing with the front ring stop and rear lug, with a cylinder with seats for cartridges and a window for the case lug placed between them. The cover accommodates the spring- loaded firing pin and ratchet wheel. The firing pin has a lug that carries the sear. The prong of the ratchet wheel positioned on the firing pin is engageable with the cylinder grooves. When the case, cylinder and cover are made of plastic, steel cartridge cases are placed in the cylinder. At cocking of the firing pin it moves backward, compresses the firing spring, and the ratchet wheel turns the cylinder. At end of firing pin cocking the sear falls behind the firing pin plug. At a depression of the sear the firing pin under the action of the spring moves forward and strikes the striker. At the same time the ratchet wheel engages the next cylinder groove.
