FIELD: smoothbore weapon. SUBSTANCE: cartridge has case 1 with powder charge 2, obturator 3, shock absorber 4, plastic container 5 with shot 6 placed in it, and bottom 7 of container 5. Head portion 8 of container 5 has longitudinal notches 9 used to provide for container opening. Made of the external end surface of head portion 8 is hollow 10, and its internal surface 11 has the shape of hemisphere. Container 5 is furnished with a device for its retention in case 1, made in the form of taper bulge 12 of head portion 8; the container is flush-mounted in the case; bottom 7 and obturator 3 are made as separate components.
