FIELD: stomatology for gingival massage at cleaning of interdental spaces. SUBSTANCE: tooth pick-activator has core base 1, massaging elements 2 located on the opposite ends of core base 1 and having cleaning elements 3 on their free ends. Massaging elements 2 are oriented to opposite side relative to core base 1, and cleaning elements 3 - in the direction from the axis of core base 1 and bent from the longitudinal axes of massaging elements 2 at an obtuse angle. Each massaging (2) and cleaning (3) element is smoothly contracted from the two opposite sides in the direction of the free end of cleaning element 3 in planes turned from core base 1. Besides, applicator 7, for instance in the form of a corrugated surface, may be made on the side of each massaging element 2 lying in the direction from the axis of cleaning element 3; the axis of each cleaning element 3 may be deflected from respective massaging element 2 through an angle of 120 to 150 deg. The axis of each massaging element 2 may be deflected from the axis of core base 1 through an angle of 70 to 120 deg., and the slope of generating surfaces of each cleaning element 3 makes up 5 to 30 deg.; the tooth pick-activator may be made of low-carbon steel or of high-strength plastic.
