FIELD: fire-extinguishing compositions. SUBSTANCE: proposed composition has in combination the following components: a) fluorochlorocarbon taken from the group involving trichlorofluoromethane, 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane, 1,2-dichloro-2,2-difluoroethane or their mixture, and b) substance taken from terpenes: citral, citronellal, citronellol, limonene, dipentene, menthol, terpinene, terpinolene, sylvestrene, sabinene, menthadiene, zingiberene, ocimene, myrcene, α-pinene, b-pinene, turpentine, camphor, phytol, vitamin A, abietic acid, squalene, lanosterol, saponine, oleanolic acid, lycopene, a-carotene, lutenine, b-terpineol, p-cymene and unsaturated acids: oleic, linoleic, linolenic, eleostearic, lincanoic, ricinoleic, palmitolic, petroselinic, vaccenic and erucic acid or their mixture. Composition can contain additionally fluorochlorocarbon or fluorocarbon taken from the group: dichlorodifluoromethane, 1,2-dichlorotetrafluoroethane, chlorofluoromethane, 1-chloro-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane, pentafluoroethane, 1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane or their mixture.
