FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: aim is to produce flexible material with working capacity in temperature range from cryogenic temperatures to temperatures of 1000 - 1200 C, fire-resistant, aggression-resistant with main mechanical properties similar to rubbers. Material is produced in the form of solid foam with cells, walls of which are capable to turn in respect to another one. Cells of the structure are produced in press-mould filled with highly dispersion powder of titanium in the form of film of one row of cells as a result of pulse contact electrical welding. Films are superimposed one on another and welded in the way forming flexible material block. EFFECT: method allows to produce flexible material with working capacity in wide temperature range.
