FIELD: fireproof materials. SUBSTANCE: surface of wood structures and materials is covered with impregnating solution containing, wt.-%: fire proofing compound, 40-65; polyacryloamide, 0.1-0.3; and potassium bichromate, 0.2-0.8. When dried, surface is further covered with solution of mixture containing 40-50 urea-formaldehyde resin and 2.0- 4.0 of fireproofing compound, the latter being product of interaction of 0.8-4.0 weight parts of phosphoric acid with 0.9-1.5 weight parts of urea in melt.
