FIELD: shipbuilding; reduction of vibration of structures. SUBSTANCE: pillar foundation is provided with inner and outer tubular profiles; clearance between these profiles is closed with blank made from viscoelastic material. Inner tubular profile is filled with vibration absorber and is provided with blank made as vibration isolator which has form of coiled spring with flange. Blank closing the clearance is made in form of bush whose upper portion is connected with tubular profiles. Viscoelastic envelope mounted in clearance is connected with bush, spring and flange by hot vulcanization method. Tubular profiles, envelope and spring may be made in form of conical members; tubular profiles are made from viscoelastic material. Use of such foundation makes it possible to enhance vibration absorbing properties of device at simultaneous extension of working frequency range from 6 to 10000 Hz due to considerable shear deformation of viscoelastic envelope relative to spring and due to necessity of overcoming the cohesive forces arising due to interaction of vibration absorber with surface of bush body and additional losses of vibroactive energy caused by this.
