SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of trans-isomer of N-methyl-4-(3,4-dichloromethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthalene amine or mixture of N-methyl-4-(3,4-dichloromethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthalene amine and suitable cis-isomer with basic agent. The process is carried out till mixture of cis- and trans-isomers having constant weight content of cis-amine about 2:1 is prepared.
