SUBSTANCE: method of activation of lead cathode in electrolizer with platinum anode and separating cation-exchange diaphragm provides for periodical switching off electric current feeding to electrolizer for 5 - 15 minutes in 2 - 20 hours of electrolysis and operational catholyte passing through at speed of 0.15 - 2.0 m/s relatively cathode surface.
