FIELD: road-building machinery, mainly, machines for laying pavement and, particular, front steering axles of road-building machines. SUBSTANCE: road-building machine has base chassis whose frame carries a power plant, rear drive axle, front steering axle and technological equipment. Front steering axle includes balancing beam, supporting wheels installed on steering knuckles with levers. Levers are hinged by tie-rods with rods of hydraulic cylinders of drive of steering wheels. Hydraulic cylinder is rigidly secured to balancing beam by means, for instance, by lugs. Hinges are cylindrical and include pins with slotted nuts. Technological equipment may include, for instance, receiving bin, feeder with upper and lower branches, distributing screw conveyer and ramming working member. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
