FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: valve gear has a valve with a cylindrical guide. The valve is mounted inside a valve box for permitting axial movement between the front and rear seats. The front seat is positioned at the boundary between the chamber for supplying fluid, which is constantly connected with a high-pressure source, and the working chamber of the striker. The rear seat is positioned at the inlet of the chamber for discharging fluid that is constantly connected with the low-pressure space. The front end face of the valve is the movable wall of the working chamber of the percussion machine. The portions of the rear end face surface of the valve are the movable walls of the chambers for supplying and discharging and the intermediate chamber. The intermediate chamber is bounded with the rear seat at the outlet. The inlet of the chamber is connected with the working chamber of the striker through a drain passageway which can be overlapped with the striker. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
