FIELD: power supply to various pieces of power equipment located at great distance from energy carriers. SUBSTANCE: power plant has frame 1 accommodating electric generator with stator 2 that includes magnetic core 3 and windings 4, heat engine with piston group 5 placed in channel 6, and working chamber 7,8,9 with automatic charger; magnetic core and stator windings of generator are coaxial to piston group of heat engine that functions as generator rotor and has working chambers at ends; piston group has barrel 11 made of nonmagnetic material and filled with alternating-pole rings 12 of permanent magnets; single-stage or multistage high-voltage transformer is introduced; generator is single-stage or multistage machine with coaxially arranged stages. EFFECT: reduced power and fuel requirement, improved efficiency and environmental friendliness, reduced material input, space requirement for power plant operation, ability to use abandoned mines, quarries, etc for its installation. 3 cl, 5 dwg
