FIELD: electromechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electrical machine has frame with end shields accommodating bearing units, stator magnetic core whose slots accommodate winding, and sleeve disposed in stator-to-rotor gap and tightly secured in end shields. Main parts of electrical machine form as a whole an annular space with end boxes at end shields and stator core-and-winding assembly in center. This space is filled with cooling liquid which is pumped through this space and cooled down in external heat exchanger. Sleeve is made in the form of thin-walled permanent-thickness cylindrical shell whose outer diameter equals inner diameter of stator core with respect to bore; inner diameter of shell is greater than rotor outer diameter by air gap value. Sleeve is secured within end shields by disposing its ends in cylindrical annular gaps between inner cylindrical surfaces of end-shield shoulders.
EFFECT: enhanced service life of electrical machine.
