DRILL WITH CENTRAL CHARGING OF SOWING MATERIALS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural machinery. SUBSTANCE: device for charging fertilizer-grain drill with sowing grain and fertilizer allows for mechanizing process of charging drills with grain and fertilizer from transport facilities, collecting bins, soft containers or clamps from ground. Before start of charging, inclined charging auger 7 is transferred from transport position to working position and adjusted for convenient taking of material and for joining with receiving bin 3 of horizontal distributing auger 2. Then hydraulic drives 1, 4 of augers are started for operation. With that, auger 7 takes and conveys material in direction towards receiving bin 3 of auger 2 which uniformly distributes it through discharge pipe union 5 with flexible hoses over corresponding receptacle 9 of fertilizer-grain drill. On completion of filling receptacles of drill, hydraulic drives 1, 4 are switched off and charging auger 7 is brought to transport position. EFFECT: increased productivity of drills due to shortened charging period. 2 dwg
