FIELD: agricultural and mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hopper apparatus has housing with upper discharge window, discharge auger provided with left-hand and right-hand spiral coils and positioned in lower part of housing, and seed arch shelling device. Housing has inclined side walls. Arch shelling device is formed of shaft to which arch destroying plates and rollers are attached. Rollers are engageable with cam attached to auger shaft end for converting rotational motion of auger shaft into reciprocating motion of seed arch shelling device. Arch destroying plates are disposed so as to be arranged above discharge auger. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
