SUBSTANCE: method refers to technology of cutting by high-pressure jet of medium and can be used for cutting, cutting-out and production of parts of various configuration, also in treating strong and high-strength materials and especially those of extra-large thickness. According to method, high-pressure working jet is discharged from nozzle device, and object to be treated is moved relative to jet. Cutting is performed by several processing passes, each of them is characterized by own feed values Si along cutting contour, duration of pass t and also by value n for which nozzle device should be brought towards surface of object to be treated at start of each successive pass.
