METHOD OF CLEANING THE CHANNEL FROM PRECIPITATIONS AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2046687 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method lies in removing precipitations with the high-pressure jets of the working agent. The washing is carried out with flat jets which are oriented parallel to the layers of contaminating precipitations and are directed to the precipitation end. As a working agent it is advisable to use the air under the pressure of 0.4-1.0 MPa and at the discharge of not less than 60 m3/s per one square meter of the total square of the output holes of the nozzle checkers. The water flow is fed along the channel for removing the demolished precipitations. The device has a hollow housing on the front part of which the nozzle checkers and the means of feeding the working agent to the nozzle checkers are mounted. The shape of the cross-section of the lower part of the housing is made corresponding to the shape of the lower part of the cross-section of the purified channel. The front part of the housing is made with a slope for possible formation of the cutting edge along the perimeter of the lower part of the housing. The nozzle checkers are made as slots oriented perpendicular to the vertical axis of the housing cross-section. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning channels and pipelines. 5 dwg
