FIELD: liquid membranes for substance separation. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes interconnected first and second chambers filled with liquid membrane and having arrangements for dispersing corresponding phases, and also nipples for admission and removal of phases. Chambers are connected in their upper and lower parts with circulation pipes in such a way that lower pipe opening in each chamber is located above phase-liquid membrane interface when phase density exceeds that of liquid membrane, and upper pipe opening is located below phase-liquid membrane interface when phase density of liquid membrane exceeds that of phase. Apparatus may be provided with additional chambers with circulation pipes of similar structure disposed under the first and second chambers. Stacked chambers are separated with perforated partitions. Circulation pipes can be arranged horizontally or obliquely. EFFECT: improved structure. 4 cl, 2 dwg
