FUEL GASIFICATION PLANT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2087526 C1

FIELD: fuel gasification. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gasification of ash-containing strongly watered liquid wastes from organic production plants as well as high-moisture waste water sediments and excessive activated sludge. Plant contains heat- exchange apparatus 1 for heat drying of wet fuel made in the form of apparatus with build-in heat exchanger 2 with connection pipes 3 and 4 and system 5 for recycling steam formed in drying process; reactor gas-generator 7 with burner 8 disposed in its top part and screen surfaces 9; apparatus 10 for cooling generator gas to temperature below deformation commencement temperature made as contact water heat exchanger with connection pipes 11,12,13 for supply and removal of water and gas; consecutively connected heat exchangers 14,15,16 with connection pipes for supply (17,18,19) and removal (20,21,22) of cooling medium disposed in separate cases 23,24,25 with connection pipes for supply (26,27,28) and removal (29,30,31) of gas and condensate 32,33,34; drum separator 35 with feed water supply fitting; circulation pump 37; lockage system 38; slag separator 39; water cleaner 40; circulation pump 41; water- supply line 42 to heat exchangers 15,16; steam-supply pipeline 43 from heat exchanger 14 to heat exchanger 2; pipeline 44 with circulation pump 45; heat exchanger 46 installed on line 47 for feed water supplied into drum separator 35 with connection pipe 48 and pipeline 49; line 50 for supplying oxygen-containing gas to burner 8; lines 53-56 for removing generator gas from contact water heat exchanger 10 and cases 23-25; line 57 for removing steam from drum separator 35; and line 58 for supplying water and condensate to fitting 11 of apparatus 10 with pump 59. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation and enabled gasification of high-moisture solid fuels. 3 cl, 1 dwg
