FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for mixing liquids is more particularly designed for preparing emulsions in chemical industry, to be used when burning liquid fuels at power stations, and, in milk industry, for fine emulsification of nonmilk-origin fat in milk when producing a whole milk substituent. Apparatus provides introduction of admixture component into process stream with simultaneous high-precision control of amount of admixture component. Invention is distinguished with that, in central part of sealed apparatus casing, a series of conical concentric attachments is installed to form annular gap between the attachments and cone-like channel for passage of product with its apex directed to process stream inlet side. Upper cone attachment is made as one piece with process stream inlet fitting and is free to move in vertical direction and thereby to change dimension of annular gap between the first and second cone attachments. Such a change makes it possible to change area of mixed liquids interface. There is also a mobile barrier in the casing providing cone angle of passage channel formed with cone attachments above the barrier exceeding that formed with cone attachments below the barrier.
