FIELD: plastic metal working; manufacture of ball pins having reversed cone in zone of joint of spherical head with rod for automobiles. SUBSTANCE: forming of ball pin by forging is carried out in solid dies. In course of forging, ball head is headed, then, the blank is turned, and resting on the head, rod conical part is headed, which is adjacent to shank.
