FIELD: woodworking industry; pruning machines. SUBSTANCE: technological equipment of pruning machine with its running gear mounted on rail track is provided with slewing boom and mounted on opposite ends of boom are gripping-unloading device, cross-cutting mechanism in the form of rocking-type saw, and drawing device which has carriage 6 installed on guide members of slewing boom with rope-and-pulley drive system provided with hydraulically-driven winch 7, rope 8 with idle line 9 and working line 10, guide pulleys 11, 12. Pulley 12 is connected with hydraulic cylinder 13. Successively mounted on carriage 6 are two blocks of slewing grips 14, 15 located in pairs. Grips 14 of first block are turned towards idle line 9 of rope 8 and are provided with synchronizing mechanism in the form of interacting slewing sectors 16. Grips 15 of second block located in pairs are turned towards working line 10 of rope 8 and axles of their slewing are mounted on carriage 6 with displacement in longitudinal direction relative to axles of slewing of grips of first block and are located at end face of carriage directed towards gripping-receiving device. Slewing axles 17 of grips 14 and 15 are parallel to each other. Slewing grips 14 are connected with carriage 6 by flexible members 18, and their synchronizing mechanism through block 19 is connected with working line 10 of rope 8. Free end of this rope is connected with carriage 6. Slewing grips 15 of second block are kinematically linked with first block of slewing grips 14. Each flexible member 18 is made in the form of spring mounted on guide member 20 pivotally connected with one of sectors 16 and movably linked with arm 21 of lever of grip 15. This configuration simplifies operation of grips 15. Displacement of slewing axles of blocks of grips in longitudinal direction reduces loads on their supports. Deformation of top portions of tree logs is reduced. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
