FIELD: various industries, more particularly manufacture of large-size products of variable thickness and complicated configuration. SUBSTANCE: rigid thermally moldable polyurethane foam is prepared by reacting polyisocyanate with mixture of polyols. Said mixture comprises high molecular weight polyether polyol having molecular weight of 5000, low molecular weight polyether polyol having molecular weight of 190-560, diethylene dipropylene glycol phthalate and low molecular weight alcohol having molecular weight of 62-191. Amount of diethylene dipropylene glycol phthalate is 20-40 wt parts per 100 wt parts of polyol component, and weight ratio of high molecular weight polyether polyol having molecular weight of 190-560 and low molecular weight alcohol having molecular weight of 62-191 constitutes 1.0:0.66: 0.14-1.0: 1.0: 0.30, respectively. EFFECT: polyurethane foam having improved thermal moldability within wide temperature range of 80- 200 C, high bending strength and highly stable technological parameters of the polyol component. 2 tbl
