FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to produce polyurethane foams with reduced inflammability and adequate for manufacturing heat-insulation products. Invention is distinguished by that initial reaction mixture contains hydroxyl- containing components, special additives (foam stabilizer, catalyst, blowing agent, etc.), filler, and isocyanate component. First, hydroxyl-containing component is mixed with special additives and filler, after which isocyanate component is added. Filler is liquid sodium soap with modulus up to 4.0 and density 1.3-1.5 g/cu.cm. As isocyanate component, di- and polyisocyanates with NCO group content 29-33 wt.-% are used. Amount of liquid glass is 50 to 150 wt.pts (on conversion to sodium silicate) per 100 wt.pts of the sum of hydroxyl and isocyanate components. Characteristics of products: compression strength 0.4-0.5, heat stability 180-250 C, fire resistance 2-4 s of burning. EFFECT: improved consumer characteristics. 2 tbl
