FIELD: manufacture of engines. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preparation of fuel by passing it between two electrodes: one dielectronic electrode and other copper electrode. Fuel is polarized by shifting it in inter-electrode space and is saturated with ions of metals and electronic charge is imparted to it. Device for realization of this method has hollow housing with two pipe unions for connecting the fuel supply and discharge pipe lines and two electrodes. Device is provided with fuel converter which is mounted along axis of hollow housing and is made in form of chamber inside which electrodes are located. One electrode is made in form of dielectronic spiral; other electrode is located between coils of this spring. Chamber is formed by bottom and cover made from dielectronic material and by side surface made from filtering material. Bottom and cover of this chamber are tight relative to dielectronic spiral. Supply pipe union may be grounded. Second electrode (for example, copper electrode) may be connected with source of electrostatic field. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 4 dwg, 2 tbl
