FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel systems of internal combustion engines. Said system for treatment of fuel by electric field comprises hydraulic device consists of hollow sectional housing, first electrode in form of grid, second and third electrodes, inlet and outlet channels communicating with inlet and outlet fuel lines of engine, fuel working channel formed by holes in electrodes and clearances between electrodes, high-voltage energy converter with positive and negative poles connected with high voltage source, second high-voltage energy converter with positive and negative poles, first and second signal setters and engine operation mode sensor. System is furnished also with housing accommodating hydraulic device, first and second high-voltage energy converters and signal setters. First and second energy converters are made in form of high-voltage transformers, and signal setters are made in form of interrupters for modulating signal frequency and voltage. Invention provides optimization of fuel processing, elimination of chock danger and damage of electric circuits. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and safety. 4 cl, 1 dwg
