FIELD: lighting engineering; glowing lamps. SUBSTANCE: burner has housing, mixer and mantle. Housing consists of flange, cover, flame tube secured on flange and protective hood with holes installed between flange and cover. Mixer is placed in separate case whose inner space communicates with atmosphere. Cover and flange of burner are made flat and interconnected by intermediate posts. Burner protective hood is made in form of screen secured on intermediate posts. Mixer case is installed on flange and at least partially located inside flame tube. Inner space of mixer case communicates with atmosphere through hole in case wall located outside flame tube. Protective screen is formed by spiral wire secured on intermediate posts.
