FIELD: study of metals. SUBSTANCE: device is intended both for test of standard of fineness of alloys of noble metals and for cleaning of hydrogen electrode of device probe. During cleaning mode hydrogen electrode is used as one of electrodes and is connected to output of current generator. The other electrode is made in the form of conductor with low-porosity silver coat, is mounted in nozzle of probe, is connected to input of comparator with changeable threshold and gas area of contact with electrolyte exceeding area of section of probe. EFFECT: increased accuracy of test, decreased time of cleaning of hydrogen electrode with simultaneous possibility of complete restoration of potential of hydrogen electrode, prolonged service life of device. 1 dwg
