FIELD: agricultural irrigation equipment including aerostats. SUBSTANCE: air irrigation system has aerostat-type aircraft 1, whose surface faced to Sun is made in the form of transparent enclosure 2, cable 3 and solar batteries 4 fixed above aircraft 1 in suspended state and connected with heating plant 5 and cooling plant 6 positioned within enclosure 2 in contact with gas within enclosure. Gas is heated upon switching on heating plant 5 to increase lift force, which is at constant level, when heating plant 5 is switched off. When cooling plant 6 is switched on, gas temperature is reduced and, consequently, lift force of aircraft is decreased. It results in reduction of motion speed of irrigation system along irrigation trace. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing for irrigation of vast areas, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
