FIELD: devices for moving over vertical ropes. SUBSTANCE: rigidly secured between motion bars, above foot supports on guide tube, movably contacting the guide var, is T-shaped rod with sheave on its end. Flexible link is arranged over sheave connecting noses of both supports. T-shaped rod, when walking over the rope in supports, rests alternately on body of each upper foot support to hold sheave above foot support. When lowered foot with inclined downward nose is found in the lower point, flexible link is tensioned to hold the upper stopped support in horizontal position, and turns the lowered support into the horizontal position and stops it also on the rope.
