FIELD: welding; wire for welding strips of chromium ferritic steels and alloys prior to cold rolling. SUBSTANCE: nickel-base alloy contains, mass %: manganese 5-12, titanium 1-3 and nickel - the rest. Alloy can additionally include 2-5 mass % of ammonium. Amount of impurities is limited by the following values, mass %: nitrogen 0.0001-0.03, silicon 0.001-0.2, carbon 0.001-0.03. Use of such wire prevents hot cracks in seam metal and adjacent zone providing high ductility and deformability of metal in process of cold rolling. EFFECT: improved quality of welds. 3 cl, 1 tbl
