FIELD: ozone production. SUBSTANCE: method includes water cooling of low-voltage and air cooling of high-voltage electrodes. Cooling water is fed by gravity. Heated water is withdrawn by means of convection, cooled through expansion at reduced pressure and repeatedly returned by gravity into electrode cooling step so providing water circulation mode. Air is forced through owing to excessive pressure of ozonation waste in mass exchange apparatus, heated air being withdrawn through ventilation system. Ozonator-cooling arrangement containing low- voltage electrode cooling jacket, high-voltage electrode with inner cavity, inlet and outlet water and air fittings, supply and withdrawal pipelines for water and air, is additionally provided with expansion pan installed above ozonator and connected through its inlet with water withdrawal pipeline and through its outlet with water-supply pipeline for low-voltage electrode cooling jacket. In this case, ozonator outlet is connected with cooling air-supply pipeline, and air-withdrawal pipeline is engaged with jet pump. EFFECT: improved efficiency of ozonator. 2 cl, 1 dwg
